Structure for eight-hour classes:
Each class lasts two hours with approximately one-hour of exercise instruction and practice and one-hour of group instruction. For example, we might discuss nutrition and work with motivational issues before beginning the exercise portion of the class. Exercise routines will use gym equipment, but will include variations for home use. Each class includes weekly email communication with suggestions for the week, tips, responses to topics that came up in class, and motivational information. Group email participation, such as emailing health articles, questions, food tips, etc., is encouraged. Write-ups of class materials will be available at www.elainemansfield.com.
Please bring the following:
Loose clothing for free movement and supportive athletic shoes for indoor exercise
Class journal for notes and keeping track of progress
Water or snacks if you need them
Structure for four hour class:
Each class lasts two hours and will focus on exercise instruction and practice. You will learn safe and effective exercise form and an effective time-efficient routine. At the end of this class, you will have a full-body routine you can practice on your own.
