Women's Health Care

I created this section to help women of all ages take good care of themselves, and of course men can benefit from much of the information, too.  This photo is from the first class I taught in the Colgate University Wellness Program in 2003 called "Fit Past Forty."  The articles here are valuable for women of all ages.  We know that good nutrition and exercise started at an early age will prevent most osteoporosis and lower risks of breast cancer.  Some of the articles are about menopause with practical ideas for physical and psychological self-care at this transition time.  You might also check my resource list for helpful books and the list of my favorite web sites found under exercise.
